Terms of service
These terms govern your use of TxnFlow, software that reads the bank statement PDFs you upload and turns them into a reconciled ledger. TxnFlow is provided by Omer Zahid Bajwa, an individual based in the United Arab Emirates(“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. What TxnFlow is
TxnFlow reads documents you upload. It does not access your bank accounts, move money, or give financial, tax, legal or accounting advice. What it produces is a working record for you to check, not a professional opinion.
2. Access and fees
TxnFlow is invite-only: anyone can create an account, but you can use it only once we approve that account. TxnFlow charges nothing yet. We don't promise any particular availability or response time, and features may change or be withdrawn.
3. Your account
Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
4. Acceptable use
- Upload only statements you are entitled to process: your own, or ones you have permission to handle.
- Don't try to manipulate how TxnFlow reads documents, for example by hiding instructions in a file.
- Don't probe, overload or disrupt the service, get around its limits, or try to reach other people's data.
- Don't use TxnFlow for anything unlawful.
5. Your content
You own what you upload and what TxnFlow produces from it. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, which includes having the processors listed on the security page handle it on our behalf. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
6. Accuracy
TxnFlow imports a statement only when its rows add up to the balances printed on it. That check proves the arithmetic is consistent; it does not prove every row is right. A statement that is itself wrong, or two errors that cancel each other out exactly, still pass. Check the results before you rely on them for tax, accounting or financial decisions.
7. Paid plans and page packs
Paid plans and page packs are not on sale yet. When they are, this section applies.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Refunds follow our refund policy, which never limits the rights you have by law.
8. Suspension and closing an account
You can stop using TxnFlow at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk; where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described on the security page.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, TxnFlow is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from decisions you make using what TxnFlow produces. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection the law of the country you live in gives you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we update the date at the top, and for significant changes we tell account holders by email before they take effect. If you keep using TxnFlow after that, the new terms apply.
